John L. Dublin has been involved professionally with cutting horses since 1987. He has been quite fortunate to have the opportunity to work for some of the best in the industry - Jon White, Tom Merryman, and Mark Lavender. Originally from Texas where he grew up on the families' ranch, he moved to Montana in the fall of 1999, where he met the love of his life, Anita. They have a son named Riley who is on the fast track to becoming a serious cutter and John Jr. soon to follow!  

  We are committed to improving the Non Pro and the Amateur and their horses.  Dublin Cutting Horses offers a well rounded training operation and can provide a service that will fit most any need. The horses and customers always come first and it is this philosophy and practice that allow John L to build long term relationships with his customers.  The cutting horse industry as a whole and specifically in Montana is very important to John L.  Consequently, he has taken the time and initiative to serve on the Board of Directors for the Montana Cutting Horse Association for a number of years and is serving as President for 2003/2004, in an effort to represent the industry from the trainer's perspective.

  Of course in any sport the bottom line is results.  John L is able to methodically and professionally get the most from horse and rider, whether it is a first time cutter in the $2000 rider class to the futurity horse at the aged events, his success speaks for itself.
